Dear Friends, Family, and Casual Acquiantances,
I thought I'd set up a blog and getting running on a regular basis before we fled/left for Taiwan. It seemed like the easiest way to keep in touch. Unfortunately, before we've even left the trouble has begun. Although our applications (with the resequite documents, money, and passports) arrived at TECO on Wednesday, our return envelopes were only self-addressed, not prepaid. Oh, the horror, the horror! We've contacted ILP and hopefully there's a way to fix the problem without having to start the visa process again (and shell out another $200.00, grumble grumble). Um, I guess that's it for post #1. Stay tuned for the thrilling conclusion of "C'est la Visa."
