Pregnancy, what is it good for, I ask? You're bone-tired (yet can't sleep for more than two or three hours at a stretch), nauseous and/or puking day after day for weeks, crazy-thirsty, and even if you haven't gained much (or any) weight, nothing fits right because you've magically changed shape somehow.
This kid better be awesome.

Dad
What? Congrats. You are going to be a great mom. How far along are you?
Now I hear (and keep in mind that this is total conjecture at this point) that pregnancy can lead to all of the following: (1) bloating and/or swollen limbs as well as an inordinate amount of weight gain (although, due to #3, I had great success at weight loss - to the tune of 20-30 pounds), (2) sleeplessness for the next 18 years or so (which it sounds like you're already experiencing), (3) nausea and vomiting (also fun), (4) pain in various places at various inconvenient times, sometimes constant, sometimes intermittent, and (5) an adorable child that you will both love and hate desperately, enough so that you might consider at some point going through pregnancy again. Congratulations!!
