Preparing to Meet Sephat

Dear All,
As I write this, it is after 1 am and we are sitting here waiting for Typhoon Sephat to hit. So far, there has been no wind or rain. The local pump station did either turn off or run out of water, but there was still some in the store so we were able to achieve our desired levels. There was no bread anywhere (even 7-11!), but luckily we had bought some yesterday night. Honestly, our two main concerns are 1)amusing ourselves if the power goes out and 2)the winds breaking our glass doors because we can't get the gate to come down. If it still hasn't hit when we wake up in the morning, we might ask the security guards if they know what the problem is (i.e, you stupid Americans, you didn't unlock it; you were pressing up, etc.) Everything that is easily damaged and irreplacable has been moved to higher ground. At this point, it is pretty much just hunkering down and seeing what happens.
